Your Opportunity

We are looking to expand our archaeology team with a permanent, full-time archaeologist position based out of the Sidney office. Work will focus on projects across various service lines in British Columbia.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Preparing regulatory deliverables including site forms, interim and final reporting
  • Providing quality review of regulatory deliverables
  • Conducting fieldwork as needed
  • Managing digitally and manually collected field data
  • Actively participating in Stantec’s HSSE programs

Qualifications

Your Capabilities and Credentials

  • Self-motivated, has excellent technical writing skills
  • Experience in Cultural Resource Management, including the preparation and review of regulatory deliverables
  • Desire to work closely with other environmental professionals and First Nations
  • Dedicated to following and promoting a strong safety culture
  • Ability to solve complex problems using sound professional judgment, creativity, and innovation

Education and Experience

A Bachelor’s degree in Anthropology or Archaeology is required.

Minimum 10 years of archaeological experience and 5 years’ experience producing and reviewing regulatory deliverables.
