SUMMARY
The Business Intelligence Analytics position have been created to address client’s demand for analytical insights that ultimately drives action based decision-making. This function foundationally supports BGIS Intelligence service offering. This role is to provide end user support on how to efficiently and effectively use business intelligence applications to fulfill business objectives. The Business Intelligence Analyst will help write financial reports and analysis reports, trouble shoot financial applications and aid in acquisition related activities such as data conversions. The Business Intelligence Analytics is also responsible for PM and FM, North American analytics with focus on standards, process improvement, root cause analyses and corrective action implementation.
KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Data standards and information automation – using SmartSheet, Access, MS office tools, TABLO and other tools.
Working with operation teams, define needs, identify opportunities and project manage the implementation of new solutions.
Good understanding of the organization’s goals and objectives
Able to develop documentation for training and end user procedures
Recommend reporting automation tools
Provide recommendations for process improvement.
Working with Project Management and Facility Management teams, help them understand dashboard reports and determine root cause of failures.
Project management – executive update, action item tracking
Training of new processes and tools (includes written work instructions and verbal/WEB based training)
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
Knowledge of trends in technology relating to software applications, such as Data base tool, Access, MS office tools, Tablo, and others.
Have a College diploma or equivalent training.
Highly analytical and understand the basic principles of working with complex data set
Able to leverage insights and opportunities from data and metrics to build strategies and make recommendations.
Ability to work with a team towards common goals
Able to manage multiple projects and priorities
Self-starter who is comfortable working with and presenting to all management levels and client.
Excellent written and oral communication including ability to communicate with users with various technical backgrounds.
Demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills
Attention to details
Ability to work well under pressure
