Being a developer in the API team for the Transactional Banking domain at National Bank means:

• Helping revamp the cross-sector architecture of our digital channels
• Being able to visualize projects in progress as a finished product
• Participating in a variety of major projects
• Having a direct impact on the client experience

This means:

• Developing the back end of web services with a new technology stack 
• Administering and maintaining servers hosted on the AWS cloud
• Automating production, quality assurance and development environment processes
• Challenging your architect and designer colleagues in order to improve development tools, systems, procedures and security
• Troubleshooting production and deployment issues in collaboration with the development team

You’re the ideal candidate if you have:

• Java back-end development experience (Spring Boot, microservices)
• AWS cloud and environment scripting experience
• Proficiency with DevSecOps and pipeline development
• Proficiency with Docker and Kubernetes

Plus:

• You’ve worked in teams that are serious about software development best practices (clean code, SOLID principles), such as automated testing, code review, and DevSecOps techniques.
