Join the Big Data, Analytics and Data Visualization team! Our sector's mission is to contribute to the improvement of strategic and operational decision-making based on advice and solutions to make more effective use of the wealth of corporate information and accelerate the Bank's evolution.
Being a BI analyst-developer on our team means working with other developers, analysts, IT solution architects, and business sectors to put solutions in place that ensure data continuity, quality, and security. You'll bridge the gap between the various experts from the data sources involved to ensure optimal understanding and management of data. You will be part of a team that aims to learn continuously in order to ensure innovative management of data visualization systems.
Day to day tasks:
Innovation, commitment, solidarity, and developing knowledge about data analytics are central to our day-to-day tasks. We therefore need dynamic and creative candidates able to work with multidisciplinary teams to efficiently design and deliver quality solutions while meeting delivery deadlines.
Nature of the contribution:
Reporting to the BI Manager – Data Visualization, you will act as a professional resource for business intelligence files and provide specialized expertise and informed advice to stakeholders for the application of related principles and best practices.
- Bachelor’s degree (or academic equivalent) in a related field and 5 years of relevant experience or Master’s degree in a related field and 3 years of experience
- Excellent knowledge of Business Object, Power BI, and DAX and MDX languages
- Advanced knowledge of SSRS, SSIS, and SSAS (tabular and multidimensional)
- Knowledge of the banking industry
- Advanced knowledge of Tableau, an asset
- Knowledge of REST API, an asset
- Bilingualism, spoken and written (English and French)
- Ability to structure and conduct meetings with stakeholders from different fields
- Ability to synthesize and communicate in non-technical language
- Leadership, sense of initiative, and multi-tasking abilities
- Team spirit, strong work ethic, and detail-oriented
- Experience working in client support, an asset
- Ability to work under pressure
- Self-starter and able to manage priorities
- Knowledge of Agile and DevOps methodologies, an asset.
