THE ROLE 

Reporting to the Supervisor of the North American IT Office, the IT Desktop Technician is responsible for the general support offered to users for both software and hardware. More specifically, he/she is called upon to :

WHAT YOU’LL DO 

Here are just a few ways that you’ll help make journeys better:  

• Provide first line support to users (call taking);

• Create trouble tickets, if necessary;

• Analyze and resolve computer and software problems;

• Ensure stable operation, installation, configuration, maintenance and troubleshooting of hardware, software and peripherals;

• Assist in the testing and implementation of new hardware units and custom software;

• Installs hardware and configures user accounts;

• Create procedures, documentation, and assist with staff training as needed;

• Set up new user accounts (internal and external), delete or update user account information, reset passwords, etc;

• All other related duties.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED 

We want you to join our team! Here’s what we’re looking for: 

Experience:

• Three (3) to five (5) years of experience in office support, PC/Windows environment;

• Experience working in a call center or IT service center (required);

• Experience with the following technologies (a plus):

  • Microsoft Office 365 products (Exchange, Azure, ADFS)

  • Microsoft Active Directory under domain/forest level 2012 and higher

  • Microsoft Windows Defender Endpoint Protection

  • Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager 2012 (SCCM 2012)

Language skills required:

• English and French.
