We are now recruiting for a permanent Network Specialist in our Information and Technology Services team. The role will be working hybrid from our head office in Burnaby, BC. Apply this week if you would like to take on this role.

Key Ways This Position Makes An Impact

The Network Specialist designs and implements strategic plans to ensure network capacity meets requirements and reviews network design compliance with a heightened awareness of security policies.

In this role, you would research emerging technologies to support network development efforts and recommend technologies that provide cost effectiveness and network flexibility.

This role oversees, creates, and maintains documentation as it relates to network configuration, network mapping, processes, and service records. The Network Specialist manages and sets priorities for the network design, maintenance, development, and evaluation of all infrastructures.

In this role, you would manage current systems and network infrastructure software, installing and configuring storage devices.

Key Experiences You Bring To This Role

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience managing, developing and delivering strategic network architectural design and operational excellence
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience designing and managing enterprise-wide LAN’s, WAN’s, WLAN’s, VPN’s, VM’s, virtual networks, etc.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience managing Windows Server and Infrastructure environment (Active Directory, Exchange, IIS, Group Policy, etc)
  • AWS and/or Azure certification
