Post-Doctoral Fellowship Opportunity
 
Applications are invited for a Postdoctoral Fellowship in the Department of Health Research Methods, Evidence, and Impact at McMaster University. This fellowship is in collaboration with EBSCO Clinical Decisions, the publisher of DynaMed, an evidence-based medicine point-of-care resource for practicing clinicians.
 
We are seeking a highly qualified individual to join our team to engage in research in medical information retrieval and processing, as well as obtain hands-on experience in the creation and maintenance of documents that translate clinical findings into a format that is accessible to practicing clinicians. 
 
In addition, part of the fellowship would involve the participation in a systematic review on a pre-determined topic selected in collaboration with editors at DynaMed.
 
An ideal candidate would be an experienced clinical epidemiologist or librarian who has recently completed their Ph.D. and have training in or a strong interest in evidence-based medicine.
 
The candidate will be expected to carry out independent research in evidence-based medicine, in addition to engage in grant-writing, peer-review publication, and other related activities, which may include mentoring junior research students in the group. There is an opportunity for potential international travel as part of the fellowship.

The salary is $50,000 CAD/year, plus a $2,000 grant for research expenses.
