Your Opportunity

The role of Intern is to work as a team member to support the Regional Leader for British Columbia on a range of projects and activities related to regional operations, business development, and project execution.

The team is looking for an Intern for April to June 2022 inclusive, with the possibility for extension.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct research and prepare reports as necessary to support regional growth initiatives.
  • Support logistics and coordination of office consolidation.
  • Edit and format correspondence, presentations, proposals and reports.
  • Manage calendars, schedule meetings, book meeting rooms, and coordinate other meeting logistics.
  • Attend meetings to take minutes, including distribution, tracking of action items and deliverables, and follow-up as necessary.
  • Perform clerical tasks including data entry, filing, photocopying, scanning etc.
  • Perform other administrative duties as required.

Qualifications

Your Capabilities and Credentials

  • Experience with typical business software such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
  • Previous civil engineering field experience is an asset.
  • Health and safety certifications are an asset.

Education and Experience

  • Post-secondary enrollment in or certification from an accredited school.

Typical office environment, with the potential for field work as well. Field work may include exposure to the elements including inclement weather.
