Designer position dedicated to Corporate Operations.

These positions report to the Leader, Training and Talent Development, LSTD (Learning Strategy and Talent Development).

As a training expert, you'll develop and ensure the implementation of a standardized training strategy for the various Operations units. You’ll interact with management to properly target needs. You’ll also work with content experts from each sector and develop independent study tools. As part of our team, you’ll have the opportunity to grow in a dynamic and evolving environment that encourages creativity and communication.

Your role 

  • Understand the ecosystem, needs and tools available so you can establish a training/onboarding strategy
    • Analyze the reality on the ground of the Corporate Operations teams and with groups of projects impacting the sector
    • Using data in the design of learning activities and in their evaluation
    • Develop the pedagogical division and the architecture of the contents according to the needs of the customers, the identified contents and the targeted objectives
    • Establish measurement and feedback mechanisms following the implementation of training tools and also the training disseminated.
  • Build a centralized and informative learning space, and create content adapted to the reality of employees
    • Develop an onboarding plan
    • Draw up an action plan for the different sectors
    • Create dynamic tools that promote learning and generate a positive impact on employees: Capsules, task aids, checklists, coaching, matching
  • Other activities, depending on the nature of the sector's needs:
    • Facilitate meetings and workshops
    • Ensure the dissemination of classroom training activities using andragogic principles
    • Occasionally assist sectors in documenting their processes and producing their maps
  • Help enhance learning practices within the LSTD team

Competencies required:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field and 4 years of relevant experience or master's degree in a related field and 2 years of relevant experienceExperience in training design a strong asset
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Confirmed editorial, didactic and pedagogical qualities
  • Knowledge of the various Operations teams, their specific realities and products, an asset
  • Advanced knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite
  • Knowledge of the following software an asset: Snagit, Audacity, Adobe Premiere Elements, iSpring, Articulate, HandBrake, Vyond
  • Autonomy, a self-starter and able to prioritize
  • Able to work under pressure and deal with complex and ambiguous situations that are prone to change
  • Bilingualism, spoken and written (English and French)
